Dozens of companies and laboratories _ including additive research companies, petroleum distributors and refineries, engine manufacturers _ have tested and certified Xbee Natural Fuel Additive.

Reduction of the fuel consumption in light vehicles

The Stazione Sperimentale per i Combustibili, a fuel combustion and analysis laboratory, reports directly to the Italian Ministry of Industry. Accredited by Accredia _ and financed by major fuel importing companies (gas, petrole, coal), the SSC has checked emissions and specific fuel consumption on a Diesel vehicle running with Xbee Enzyme Fuel Treatment.

The selected vehicle was a Fiat Marea 1.9 JTD SW, Euro 3 standard and equipped with a Common Rail. The laboratory applied NEDC driving cycle procedures (European directive 98/69/CE) and ECE 15 sampling (directive 91/441/CEE). The driving cycle was subdivided into two phases: an urban phase (UDC) and an extra-urban phase (EUDC).

Each experiment was conducted three times under strictly identical conditions in order to ensure the results were repeatable.

These results express the variations between EN 590 standard diesel and the same improved with Xbee Natural Fuel Additive.

These experiments have demonstrated the Xbee fuel cleaner’s ability to reduce natural fuel overconsumption in recent vehicles which engines are slightly clogged up. This phenomenon is also amplified by the enzyme catalysis in normally (or very) clogged engines, which may lead to decreased fuel consumption in the order of 3% to 10%

Elimination of bacteria, yeast and mold in heavily contaminated fuels

Intertek Analyses Chalon realized some tests to demonstrate the efficiency of the Xbee Enzyme Fuel Treatment to eliminate the contamination in a heavily polluted road diesel fuel.

Method: IP 385/99, Energy Institute (EI) international standard, ex-Institute of Petroleum (IP). This consists in counting the number of viable bacteria, yeast and mold.

D Day: Just after Xbee addition.
+ 15 : After 15 days with Xbee concentrations of 4000:1 and 500:1.
+ 60 : After 60 days with Xbee concentrations of 4000:1 and 500:1.

Results in CFU.
CFU: Colony Forming Unit (one viable germ leads to the formation of one colony).
